Getting Started

  1. Get Some Coupons
The first place to get coupons are from the sunday paper inserts. The inserts are called Smart Source (SS), Red Plum (RP), Proctor and Gamble (PG), and General Mills (GM).  You can pick up the paper on Sundays at a newstand or you can subsribe online.
You can also get store coupons. These coupons are only good at the store they are given from. You can get these in the paper, through the mail, or on the store’s website.
You can find other coupons in a variety of places, in magazines, in products, coupon books, etc.
      2 . Organize Your Coupons
Now that you have your coupons, you need to keep track of them. There are two basic ways to do this but feel free to combine them and create your own for what works best for your family.
Way 1: Cut all the coupons and places them in a binder, acordian file box, or shoe box.
Way 2: File each insert away without clipping any, then look at my posting so you can pull out the right insert and clip as you need.
        3.  Become Organized
Before going to the store, make of list of what your going to buy with the coupon matchups. Also double check to make sure you have all the correct coupons.
